Day 59- Just The Insides

"I'm going to eat just the inside" Alex informed me while taking apart her Oreo...
I swear, I never taught her that... but she is right, the inside is the best part.

Day 58- Now That's a Tower!

Now there is a tower!
The ceiling is helping hold it up.
But I have to be honest, I didn't take this picture.. Eric did.
While I was gone at orchestra rehearsal this is some of the fun they had..
I did take a few pictures yesterday, but they were beyond bad and this was just too cute... So I cheated a bit.

Day 55-All My Time

Ever feel like a chicken with your head cut off?
I do a bit now... as this is messing up my blogging time.
I am going to be in the pit for this performance... i.e. I am playing my flute with the orchestra..
and since I spending time practicing, I feel like that practice time is enough time neglecting my kids...
but don't worry I won't totally neglect you.. I just can't...(ask my husband)

Yesterday Lucas and I spent the morning sorting his Lego's...
blue & green in one drawer, red & white, wheels & miscellaneous, etc.. etc....
now hopefully I won't have to spend 20 minutes looking for the one piece we need.
Well as long as the drawers don't get dumped of course.

Have I ever told you how much I loath lunch time?
I don't know why it should be simple, just the kids and I...
but I never know what to make...
But now we have the mystery sandwiches!
3 Triangles Ham & Cheese, 1 Triangle PB&J!
How do I do it?!?

Day 34- 9 Years Ago

Last night Eric came home from basketball ball with these for me.
Why?
Well 9 years ago, on Ground Hogs Day-- Eric asked me to marry him, and I said yes.
Guess if we were in the movie I could relive that moment again and again..
and every time I would say yes.

Checking my watch again...
When are my friends going to get to the park?
That other big group of moms that are circled together talking are making me feel like a 14 year-old-girl standing by the wall wondering if anyone is going to ask me to dance.
