Now there is a tower! The ceiling is helping hold it up. But I have to be honest, I didn't take this picture.. Eric did. While I was gone at orchestra rehearsal this is some of the fun they had.. I did take a few pictures yesterday, but they were beyond bad and this was just too cute... So I cheated a bit.

Ever feel like a chicken with your head cut off? I do a bit now... as this is messing up my blogging time. I am going to be in the pit for this performance... i.e. I am playing my flute with the orchestra.. and since I spending time practicing, I feel like that practice time is enough time neglecting my kids... but don't worry I won't totally neglect you.. I just can't...(ask my husband)
Lucas is an inventor and builder at heart. For the last week he has been talking all about the catapult that he wanted to build. And today he and Eric did it. I will post about it later this week on my main blog.

"I have a really big rock and I know how to use it!" She was heading straight towards the water with that guy. You can see more pictures from our Nature Day as part of my Time For Tots post next Wednesday
Yesterday Lucas and I spent the morning sorting his Lego's... blue & green in one drawer, red & white, wheels & miscellaneous, etc.. etc.... now hopefully I won't have to spend 20 minutes looking for the one piece we need. Well as long as the drawers don't get dumped of course.

Have I ever told you how much I loath lunch time? I don't know why it should be simple, just the kids and I... but I never know what to make... But now we have the mystery sandwiches! 3 Triangles Ham & Cheese, 1 Triangle PB&J! How do I do it?!?
It rained again all weekend But with rain often comes rainbows This is the lowest rainbow I have ever seen in my life it seriously ended in the field right behind our house.. unfortunately we didn't find the gold.
Last night Eric came home from basketball ball with these for me. Why? Well 9 years ago, on Ground Hogs Day-- Eric asked me to marry him, and I said yes. Guess if we were in the movie I could relive that moment again and again.. and every time I would say yes.
They say you should take self portraits as part of 365.. so here ya go
Checking my watch again... When are my friends going to get to the park? That other big group of moms that are circled together talking are making me feel like a 14 year-old-girl standing by the wall wondering if anyone is going to ask me to dance.
The first year I did a 365- I was semi successful.
Last year I had all of these ideas about editing pictures and teaching you how.
This year it is for me.
It will be a 365, well 366, of sorts but I like to call it my 366 Journal. As it will be my place to document those little things. Every day life that I want to remember but might not be very good blog fodder. But it is for me.
I'm a determined procrastinator who gets it done. I don't excel at any one thing but am pretty dang good at a lot of things. I am a glass-half-full kind of gal even when the glass is nearly empty. I am a mom, a photographer, a wife, a creator, a couponer, a friend, a musician, an Apple fanatic, a BYU football fan and numberless other things that people have called me both good and bad. But ultimately it is my knowledge of who I truly am, a daughter of God, that helps me make it through this crazy life One Day At a Time.
