this guy turned 6 today!

The cake I made for Lucas' birthday party
Airplanes are his latest thing

Sunday, October 10th
They asked me to take a picture of them!
Sigh a mother's dream
Though I didn't have my f-stop quite right, dang it!

Monday, October 11th
Ryder and I went along to Alex's preschool field trip,
a trip to the pumpkin patch.
Ryder doesn't seem nearly as impressed as Alex.

Packages in the mail with things like this are good.

I actually took a ton of pictures today..
but I was doing a photo job-
and the client was having their picture taken for a surprise for family.
So here are some pretty flowers that we took a few pictures in front of,
the sun light was magical in this location.

Today's plans were greatly changed when Alex got sick in the morning.
Picking up Lucas from school was tiring for her.

He is getting so big!

Friday, September 24thIt's been hot-I let them play in the water again.

It was really dark when we left the party.
So dark I couldn't see the kids in the back
So when I lifted up my phone and took a picture
I had no idea what I was going to get.
Too bad my hand was covering the lens a bit.

Sunday, September 26th
We take a multi-vitamin and calcium at night..
it was late, I hadn't taken a picture- I was taking a picture of the bottles;
Eric dared me to take a picture of him "like this"... I complied.
And well he is 15" taller than me so this angle really is my usual view.

Oh and our upstairs AC stopped working the day before.

After three days of suffering
our AC was fixed!
The compressor blew up. Doh!
