Most mornings we have toast for breakfast.. well Lucas does at least.
It is what he always wants, his "sweet toast (i.e. wheat toast) with cinnamon and sugar on it.
The weekends are special though. Saturday's we will have pancakes or waffles..
And on Sunday's, well it's Egg and A Hat of course.
Simply a piece of bread with a circle cut out of the center that you cook the egg in.
I always had these growing up, and well I guess so will my kids.

I love making this!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy! How do you cook the egg without burning the bread? I'd love to know how you do it!
ReplyDeleteI had these once when I was a teenager visiting my aunt and uncle back in Arkansas. I should give it a try sometime because I'm sure my girls would love it.
ReplyDeleteYum. I may have to try that. Do you just put the bread in the pan at the same time as the eggs? I'm worried it would burn...
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...I would love this...but gees my kids won't eat anything they haven't seen before. haha. Still looks yummy...and cute.
ReplyDeleteWe always have these too! Yum!!
