Day 253-Day 259

Well I didn't post daily, but I actually put more time and thought into most of my pictures this week. And I didn't miss a day!

Friday, September 10thOh to have hair like that..

Saturday, September 11th
We celebrated this awesome lady's birthday today,
though it was actually the week before.
And yeah she might be a decade older than me,
but she is one of my best friends.

Day 255
Sunday, September 12th
"I got wet trying to clean my shoes"
"Well you are already wet you might as well play in the water."
And I was suddenly the coolest mom on the planet.
Sometimes it really is good to just say yes.

Monday, September 13th
My cute boy is four months old!
Well, technically he turned four months on the 14th,
but I did one of his photo shoots a day early.

Tuesday, September 14thI was taking Ryder's monthly picture and Alex said 'take a picture with me too!'
My girl who lately runs away from the camera
jumped in for many shots and was instructing me on what pictures to take.
I didn't object.

This bad day was made so much better by this.

Thursday, September 16thFor a boy who a few months ago wrote in all caps
and would hardly sit still, this makes me happy.
He did write the word is, I just cut it off in the picture, opps :)

Day 246-Day 252

I hardly feel like I should post this week... I missed a day again... I really just think I have gotten burned on the 365 thing... but I will keep going. Maybe if I went back to posting daily I would be more accountable. There are some days were I take a ton of pictures and then I just don't take anything. I think next year I will keep posting pictures, but going to do things a little different than just the 365.

Sunday, September 5thWe blessed Ryder at church today.
And I did take this picture,
used my tripod and remote.

Monday, September 6th
Eric's parents came into town for the weekend.
We spent part of Labor day at the Air force museum.
I love this picture of Eric and his dad, and Alex.

Tuesday, September 7thWe were the smart ones.
Just ask the tour bus driver, she will confirm it.
We went to the zoo the day after Labor Day.

Day 239- Day 245

Well all pictures are SOCC (straight out of the camera) as my in-laws are going to be here tomorrow and I have a lot of cleaning still to do.

Friday, August 27th
We went out to dinner with a group of friends
then went to the duck pond afterward.
Ryder was very wide-eyed wondering what was going on.

Saturday, August 28th
Ummmm....yeah.... opps. Missed a day.
Eric and I went on a date today... but no pics

Sunday, August 29thBeautiful day, perfect weather.
We spent the evening outdoors.
These two boys liked it.

Monday, August 30th
Lucas loves building and inventing.
We always say someday he is going to invent something that will make us all really rich.
And when he does invent something hopefully I will get a better picture than this blurry one I took with my phone.

Tuesday, August 31stMiss Ballerina is loving her class still.
She says she wants to be a ballerina her whole life.
(that and an astronaut)I got a ton of cute pictures today
but most of them show the other girls in her class too...
and the other parents might not like if I posted them.

Wednesday, September 1st
All of the sudden it was glowing kind of orange in my house.
This is the second fire on the mountain this summer.
Luckily they were able to get it out before any homes were affected.

Thursday, September 2ndLucas is shaking his principles hand.
Why?
He was one of four kids from his class today to earn an award.
He won the Learner of the Pack award for doing good work and being ready to go everyday!!
A very proud mommy day.

Day 232-Day 238

Well I think this might have been one of my worst 365 weeks to date. I took picture everyday, but just barely.. and often just with my phone. But I have been spending the days editing pictures from 3 different photo shoots, so I think by the time I was done with those my creative photo brain was just done. But though they might not be beautiful shots, they still are my shots and they tell my life. So with that great intro, here is this last weeks pictures.

Dress shopping for my little sister's wedding in October.

It's a clear bag of marbles.

i.e. the way I get my kids to behave.

Monday, August 23rdMonday nights are family night.
The boys looked really cute together
I just hurried and took a picture-flash shadows and all.

Tuesday, August 24thAlex's first ballet class!
She was in heaven.
The class is for 3-5 year olds,
she is the tall one the third from the left.. and she is 3.

There was lots of wind,
one big lighting bolt and a few drops of rain
then it was gone

Friday, August 13thA date night! Yeah!
Get a call from the babysitter, boo!
Hurry home as Lucas had a bad bloody nose.

Saturday, August 14th
I did a family photo shoot!
It really is a lot of hard work but I love it so much.

Sunday, August 15thI must confess this should have been taken on Saturday...
but Saturday was busy, it got taken on Sunday.
He is so much bigger than a month ago, yeah!!

Monday, August 16thToday was Alex's first day of preschool.
She is loving it!
And I would say I am loving the quiet of having two gone-
but this last week and a half I have been more busy than ever!

Tuesday, August 17thNext week Alex starts ballet.
We bought her clothes today and she had to try them on of course.

Wednesday, August 18thAnd I had yet another photo shoot this week!
This little guy is 19 days old.

Thursday, August 19th"The mountains on fire" Eric said when he got come.
Luckily they got it out quickly with no homes damaged

Friday, August 6thWe went out to the high desert for a weekend getaway.
Lots of swimming and lots of fun.
And yes, there are two pictures here.
But well, I really liked them both and it's my blog, so get over it enjoy!

Saturday, August 7thNot only did we spend the weekend swimming and having fun,
but Lourie of CA girl and her family (oldest daughter here) joined us for the weekend.

Thursday, August 12thThis evil working of the devil is called a two-bite cupcake.
And yes, it really is two bites... just enough to make you want more.
And since they are just two bites, they are so easy to sneak when the kids aren't watching.

I saw the ocean for the first time when I was a sophomore in college.
This is Ryder's second time to the ocean... what a life.

Monday, August 2nd
Horrible picture... but look at Lucas' floor.
All picked up. And I didn't do it.
In fact, I didn't even ask him to do it.
He went up to his room, worked for about 45 minutes and did it all one his own.
Yes, this needed to be documented.

And is it just me or does the hair around his ears look a little reddish??

She does like holding her brother, for about two minutes, then she is done.
